Our name is derived from Hebrews 11:6

In today’s age of so-called “Christian” churches going “woke”, affirming the very things the Bible condemns, and actually contributing to Cultural Decay and the destruction of our Nation, The Eleven Six institute was founded to make a tremendous impact in the lives of believers, guiding them away from error and towards Biblical churches that will nurture their faith and encourage active involvement in God’s Kingdom work.

We firmly believe that this platform will do that. But most of all, we believe this platform can influence the legislative wilderness in our government, which is critical to the kind of lives our children and grandchildren will have.

Christians and Legislation

In Exodus 18, God gives us His plan for government, and in that passage, God indicates that 1 in every 10 followers of God need to be in a position of legislative decision-making. Yes, 1 in 10! In addition, throughout the Bible, our Lord articulates what sort of governments are bad, and what sort of government actions lead to injustice and results in His punishment of those nations and their people. He also shows us how men and women of God are to be active in leading their nations.

The USA

In fact, the very foundation of the United States of America was based on an idea that had never been used to create a nation before, an idea that came solely from Pastors. It was the concept that “All men are created equal, endowed by their Creator with certain Unalienable rights.” This was not an idea that Thomas Jefferson came up with. It was an idea he took almost verbatim from 200 years of sermons from Protestant Pastors. It was what made America so different and so prosperous. It led to America becoming the most giving nation in the world & the most evangelistic nation in the world.

The Eleven Six institute is dedicated to ensuring the Church becomes and remains, not only the conscience of the Government, but also the moral guide to legislation and the moral standard for all Government. It’s only because of Christians in Government and Pastors influencing legislation that we saw the following immoral practices outlawed: Gladiatorial Combat, Slavery, Child Prostitution, Child Abandonment and thousands of similar practices. Once you realize our past role in creating a “civilized world,” you realize that it is critical for Christians, Pastors, and Churches to be involved at all levels of Government and at all levels of legislation. In fact, it would be cruel not to be involved in Government, because if it weren’t for the Church, slavery would still be legal.
